Robotic Shooting Gallery - Reference Design

The goal of releasing this reference design is to get people started on a bot easily and with a better idea of what it takes to get a working bot. In the past, build costs skyrocketed easily and outside of our expectations. With this design, you will be able to have a working bot up and running for about the price listed here.

Control Overview

In order to keep costs down, you'll probably want to use a laptop to control the gun/camera. Pololu sells a cheap servo controller that interfaces directly to the computer's serial port. The webcam you use can be any type, just make sure it works with your OS. To do the image analysis you can use OpenCV which is an open source computer vision library.
